other carriers. Unfortunately, we can not guarantee a specific
date or time of day. You will receive a call from the carrier
of your delivery date... this does not apply to UPS delivery though.
The customer or their representative must inspect all materials
Delivery requirements: If product is damaged in transit
customer MUST note this on bill of lading, in the presence of
DRIVER. If possible, please take digital photos to provide
visual proof of damage. Without a notation of damage we
are unable to file a claim against the shipping carrier and may
be unable to provide replacement. It is your responsibility to
inspect and report this immediately. Any damage reported after
delivery will not be able to be filed. All material will be shipped
in good condition from us.
Residential Deliveries: It is the customers
responsibility to unload the truck... although this does not apply
to UPS deliveries. The driver is only required to move the load
to the trucks tailgate. Delivery is driveway only.
Residential deliveries would require hand unloading and the
customer is responsible to off load. All deliveries made by
common carrier will add a charge
to deliver to a residential neighborhood... this will be added
to your final bill. A lift-gate is used when applicable with
your delivery. If available, this would be an up charge. The customer is initially contacted for
delivery schedule, whenever possible. This does not apply to business deliveries.
Business Requirements: Must have a delivery location , not
a home address, with a loading dock. Customer required to
off load. In the event of damage, customer MUST note on
bill of lading, in the presence of the DRIVER, that product was
received in a damaged condition. Please provide digital
photos whenever possible for visual proof of damage.
Without a notation of damage, we are unable to file a claim
against the shipping carrier for replacement product.
Any material returned must have prior authorization from
Austintown Fence Company. A return number will be given and
physical address for return, on any approved products. Any material approved for returns,
will be the customers expense for shipping charges back to us.
All items must be returned in good condition and in the original
container. Before a credit is issued, all material must be inspected,
before a refund is issued. Please make sure your full name, address
and phone number is included. Restocking fees and return
fees will be deducted.

No custom orders are returnable. No shipping charges are refundable.
There is a 35% restocking fee. All orders must be prepaid. We
accept Master Card, Visa and Discover, and American Express. Orders are secure. You
will be quoted a total price with shipping and or delivery
charges. Check specific manufacturers on requirements for free
shipping. All residential deliveries, that require a
lift-gate truck, are charged additional fees imposed by the common
carrier. However, there are two available ways to "waive" the
Drop-Fees. They are as follows: 1. If your product is delivered
to a business address, with an available fork-lift to off-load
the material. It would be the customer's responsibility to unload
the truck. The driver is not authorized to do this. 2. The customer
has the option to pickup their order at their local terminal.
Again, it is the customers responsibility to load your own order.
. Delivery on all other orders are based
on weight and destination.
Orders cancelled after
48 hrs. are subject to a 15% cancellation fee.

Residential deliveries (common carrier) are subject to a
Residential Delivery Fee.
This is applied only for freight deliveries to residential
addresses. Business addresses, and UPS deliveries are
exempt. This is subject to sales being delivered common
carrier (residential addresses only), regardless of dollar
amount. Residential deliveries do NOT have driver
assistance. Hand unloading is required by customer.
The residential fee would be given to customer and added on
UPS and Fedex will not deliver to a P.O. box address.
UPS and Fedex deliveries do not require the home owner to be
present, or to get a signature before delivering. Any
product returned requires prior authorization from AFC, and
a return number.
No COD's will be accepted . Shipping will be at customer's
expense. Before any credit is issued, an inspection of
the product will be conducted. Order must be received
in original package. No items will be accepted past 30 days

We at Austintown Fence and our customers rely heavily on carrier
services. These carriers are much needed and very appreciated,
although sometimes bumps and bangs can happen. To ensure quality
delivery, it is necessary that your count of boxes matches the
bill of lading. If there are any shortages, it is imperative
that this is noted on the paperwork that you are signing for,
with the delivery company.
Check all boxes for damage and sign accordingly.
Make sure you keep a copy of this receipt, if a claim has to
be made. If there is any damage or shortages delivered through
common carrier, the claim needs to be made to the trucking company.
Any damage MUST be noted on the bill of lading, IN the presence
of the Driver. Photos are helpful to provide visual proof
of damage. Without a notation of damage, a claim will not
be able to be filed.
Customers are responsible for filing claims with common carriers.
Please do not instruct the carrier to return shipments, or customer
will be subject to freight charges and restocking fees. This
will not be credited back. All products will leave our
location in good condition.
